Hover Craft. For groveling in knee high contest surf to overhead burgers. With the Omni-division bottom contour and the width carried into the tail, the board likes to ride a little more on top of the water. This board skates and squirts from turn to turn and easily carries speed across the flats. Having problems with "friends" riding your surfboard down the stairs? Are you the guy who seems to get another ding every session? The Ferrari of surfboards is here. Thousand dollar (actually $1200) surfboards made out of helicopter wing materials are a bit stronger than what you are used to (and a bit lighter too). The strength is in the rails - versus the stringer on a normal board. The boards seem to keep their speed in the flats due to the stringerless flex, but put it back on a rail and it returns to shape. It kinda feels like those boards Tom Curren and Donovan F were riding a few years back - but without the leaky glass around the tails.
